I've found a bikini bottom that covers my butt & is thicker on the sides it's a light green & my daughter got these cute bathing shorts. We got them at Target on sale but it's hit or miss with them bc it looks like a lot of thongs this yr LoL bathing suits can get expensive.

I’m also 5’9, I know you didn’t ask for jeans recommendations but I swear by Old Navy jeans, I wear their Long ones!

For swimwear you could try Malia Mills. She makes separates with different cuts. Her stuff is expensive (I first read about her in Elle magazine years ago). I have not actually purchased one of her suits but they seem to be good quality.

Athleta makes some awesome high quality and very flattering bathing suits for everyone! They are also a sustainable brand, which I love supporting with my $!

I 100% agree with you on sustainability. All in is wonderful, but not always feasible. If we all did something it adds up. It’s a process. I am always looking for new ways to reduce waste that are realistic, affordable and work.

I really appreciated the mentioning of “could do” vs “should do”. I struggle with being able to relax - some people tease me but it’s so true! I’m always in a proactive mindset that sometimes it’s really hard for me to put that aside and just be. I’m going to try and think of my relaxing days as “could” and not “should”

I love this!!! This reminded me when I went on vacation at Disney I got half off at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and I feel vacation makes you stop. I was working there so I had my park fill and I had already been to Epcot the day before. I literally got room service which was PB and J with a Mai Tai. I had the view with the Animals and I literally just did that. It was soooo relaxing!!!!!
